02/02/24

Fifth Business Facilitation Centre of Punjab has been opened in Rawalpindi as another promise has been fulfilled. Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Business Facilitation Centre for the facilitation of business community and industrialists. Mohsin Naqvi visited the Business Facilitation Centre being established at RDA and reviewed the process of NOC issuance under the One Window Operation. CM met with the staff members and directed to complete the issuance of NOC process within the stipulated period of time. He apprised that there will be 24 countes of provincial and federal departments counters alongwith their focal persons. The facility to undertake due process by various departments before initiating a business in the centre has been provided under a single roof. One Window Operation will save the business community from the hassle to frequently visit various departments. Precious time of industrialists will not be wasted with the timely issuance of NOCs. NOCs for doing a business in other divisions besides Rawalpindi can be obtained from this centre as well. CM while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Business Facilitation Centre in Rawalpindi apprised that 6 big Chambers of Commerce & Industries have played a pivotal role for the establishment of a Business Facilitation Centre in Punjab. Various proposals and recommendations were being sought for establishing a Business Facilitation Centre. The Business Facilitation Centre has been established in the light of proposals and recommendations given by the Chambers of Commerce & Industries. Provincial Minister for Industries, his team and the Rawalpindi administration deserve due credit for the establishment of a Business Facilitation Centre. Maximum number of funds have been spent on the Rawalpindi division.  Rupees one billion 75 crore are being spent on the construction and repair of roads in Rawalpindi. One project of Rawalpindi is equal to four projects of Lahore. 39 km long Rawalpindi Ring Road and Mall Road are mega projects. Rawalpindi Gymkhana Club has been inaugurated. I felt greatly pleased to witness its building. An efficient district administration is a blessing for the residents of Rawalpindi. The closed metro station of Rawalpindi after being completed is going to be opened soon. If the administration strives then works are being disposed timely. Hopefully the next government will get the under completion development projects completed. I will visit the Holy Family Hospital after few days as it will be far be far better than any private hospital. Sometimes earlier, it was not possible to compare a government hospital with any private hospital. If the residents of Rawalpindi take the ownership of their hospitals than the hospitals can further run for 20- 30 years. Provincial Ministers SM Tanveer, Doctor Javed Akram, Doctor Jamal Nasir, Amir Mir, Ibrahim Hassan Murad, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Secretary Health, Secretary C&W, Secretary Industries, Commissioner Rawalpindi and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
