Business Facilitation Center To be Established on the Ground Floor of Punjab Small Industries Corporation Head Office Al Falah Building

Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce SM Tanveer presided over the progress review meeting on Business Facilitation Center held at TEVTA Secretariat. Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce SM Tanveer while addressing the meeting said that the Business Facilitation Center will be made on the ground floor of the Head Office of Punjab Small Industries Corporation, Al Falah Building, and the Chief Minister Punjab will inaugurate it in the month of December. He said that the focal persons of the concerned departments have been appointed for the Business Facilitation Center, now the investors will get NOC and other facilities under one roof for setting up new factories. He said that the Business Facilitation Center is a milestone in bringing new investment in the province. He said that an effective system for monitoring the performance of the Business Facilitation Center has been evolved. Operational Review Committee and Steering Committee will monitor the performance of Business Facilitation Center, he added. The said that the Operational Review Committee headed by the Secretary Industries and Commerce includes the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and officers of the relevant departments. SM Tanveer said that the caretaker government of Punjab is trying to promote investment in the province. Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce directed to prepare SOPs regarding the working of business facilitation. Additional Secretary Industry and Commerce, Deputy Managing Director PSIC, Focal persons and officers of concerned departments attended the meeting.
