CM Mohsin Naqvi Inaugurates Police Khidmat Markaz at Barket Market Garden Town

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated Police Khidmat Markaz at Barkat Market Garden Town. CM Mohsin Naqvi inspected the counters set up for the facilitation of people at Police Khidmat Markaz. A vigilant staff wearing pent, coat and a tie were present at the Khidmat Markaz. CM appreciated the uniform of the staff at the Police Khidmat Markaz and felt pleased to witness excellent environment. IG Police Dr Usman Anwar gave a briefing about Police Khidmat Markaz. It was informed during the briefing that a copy of tenant registration, crime report and FIR can be obtained in 24 hours at the Police Khidmat Markaz. Charectar Certificate and verification of staff is provided in 5 days from the Police Markaz. CM after inaugurating Police Khidmat Markaz at Barket Market Garden Town and while talking with the media said that mutual communication link between Police and the people will increase with the establishment of Khidmat Markaz. The performance of Police and image will improve with the establishment of Khidmat Markaz. More Khidmat centres will be inaugurated in coming days. Complaints regarding non-registration of FIRs in Lahore city will not be received now. An FIR was not registered over the death of a child in Mananwala and the SHO was transferred to Rajanpur. Immediate action is taken over receiving complaints of non-registering FIRs in other cities. CM apprised that Rs. 1.9 billion has been allocated to upgrade 750 police stations of Punjab. Funds have been disbursed for the land and building of 10 police stations in Lahore. Smart police stations will be established in Punjab. We are appointing young police officers instead of Police officers working for 20 years at the same assignment. Mohsin Naqvi said that Rs. 1 billion has been disbursed to the police under petrol expenditure adding that field officers should also have a vehicle. It is our utmost endeavour that no one should find any opportunity or pretext to indulge into corruption. 10 to 15 percent fares have been reduced with the reduction of petrol price. '' I will do whatever I can to provide maximum relief to the people. It is my effort to complete all the ongoing projects before the expiry of my tenure and before elections.''
