CM Mohsin Naqvi Orders Urgent Expansion and Upgradation Plans at Children's Hospital Faisalabad

17/10/23

Late in the night, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by the Punjab Cabinet, conducted an unannounced visit to Children's Hospital Faisalabad. Shockingly, a single bed accommodated three children and their mothers, and even makeshift wards were set up in the kitchen area.

Distressed mothers raised complaints with the guards regarding illicit monetary demands. Swiftly, the Chief Minister ordered both legal and departmental action to be taken against the guards. In response to the pressing conditions, CM Mohsin Naqvi mandated the addition of 150 more beds to augment the capacity of the Children's Hospital. He also directed the formulation of a comprehensive plan for the hospital's overall enhancement.

Asserting that every available space within the hospital should be optimally utilized, CM Mohsin Naqvi stressed the immediate arrangement of more beds. He diligently scrutinized the medical facilities available for the ailing children and personally inspected the hospital's cleanliness measures. He visited various wards, meeting with the children under treatment and inquiring about their care.

Further emphasizing the necessity for heightened treatment facilities, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi urged for continued improvements in the hospital's services. Present at the occasion were Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Secretaries of Departments, Commissioner Faisalabad Division, CPO Faisalabad, Deputy Commissioner, and concerned officials.
