Daanish Schools Have Planted More Than 30,000 Saplings Under ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’

Daanish Schools & Centres of Excellence Authority have planted more than 30,000 saplings in compliance with the instructions of Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas under ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ campaign in the province. The members of the provincial assembly, deputy commissioners, police officers, political and social dignitaries, teachers and students of concerned districts participated enthusiastically in the campaign. According to details, 14 Daanish Schools and 11 Centres of excellence schools established all over Punjab launched the campaign of ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ in April this year. In total 26 thousand saplings have been planted in the campuses of Daanish Schools. Mr. Abdul Rehman Khan, Member of Provincial Assembly inaugurated the campaign in Daanish Schools Mianwali. Overall, 4,500 and 2,500 plants have been planted in Daanish Schools Mianwali boys and girls campuses, respectively. Farooq Aman Ullah, member of the provincial assembly and Afzal Nasir Khan DCO Rajanpur, planted 10,000 saplings in Daanish Schools Rajanpur, boys and girls campuses. 5,400 saplings have been planted in both campuses of Daanish Schools D.G. Khan. Likewise, concerned DCOs, police officers, political and social entities also launched tree plantation drive in Daanish School Rahim Yar Khan, Hasilpur, Attock, Chishtian and Centres of excellence schools located in districts. The School Education Minister Murad Raas said that ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ campaign was a flagship project of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The purpose of which is to plant maximum number of trees which are environment friendly to control the ecological and weather variations so that the citizens can breathe in neat and clean atmosphere. He commended the initiatives taken by various segments of the society and wished to make it a successful project for coming generation.
