PSCA Celebrates International Women’s Day.

In the wake of International Women’s Day, PSCA organized a thought-storming event to acknowledge the spirit and services of women workforce; their contributions in forming a better society to live-in for all and to reflect on what further efforts are essential to establish the realm of gender equality and how PSCA can facilitate a smooth transition in this regard.  

Herein Qurban Lines, Thursday, Mar 8 was cheered up by pink-clad youth of PPIC3 female workforce in addition to the pink references displayed in dress-code by their male counterparts to mark the day that later entailed a Service Acknowledgment ceremony graced by Chief Guest Justice (R) Nasira Javed Iqbal, Mothers of promising performers in addition to ASP Defence Bushra Jameel and Mrs. Capt. Ahmed Mubeen Shaheed. “This day promotes the rights and irrefutable significance of women”, said Chief Guest Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal speaking to the audience. “It is heartwarming to find women working side by side in such critically important security project”, she added.  “No society can attain optimum productivity until it learns to employ the potentials of its both halves equally”, she concluded her thoughts.

The guest were briefed about different sections of PSCA. They were briefed about women participation in authority’s operations as a strong beacon of change in Police culture. PSCA engages women in various roles in not less than 25% of its workforce. Later, the Chief Guest distributed Certificates of Appreciation among the best performing female employees for their achievements in their respective capacities. The mothers of the performing officers felt overwhelmed with the emotions and extended best wishes and prayers for the success of the whole setup.
