Expenditure Wing

There are four sub wings in Expenditure Wing, responsible for examining all proposals having financial implications (except those concerning pay and perquisites of government servants), which are beyond the delegated powers of the Administrative Departments and are, referred to Finance Department for sanction. All proposals relating to creation of posts and those for inclusion of new schemes and on-going temporary schemes in the provincial budget require clearance of the concerned Expenditure Wing. Allocation of work among the four sub wings is outlined below:

  • Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department

Expenditure (Education)
  • Education Department
  • Services, General Administration & Information Department & all other Secretariat Department.
Expenditure (Local Government &Home)
  • Local Govt. Department.
  • Home Department
  • Labour Department
Expenditure (Revenue & Supply)
  • Food Department
  • Cooperatives Department
  • Board of Revenue & Industries Department
  • Examining of purchase proposals emanating from government departments
