D.G. Khan has approximately 50 cottage Industries and 25 Industrial units, primarily in gemming and oil extraction and other items. It accounts for 2% of all the exports of Pakistan, hence contribute to the economy by bringing in foreign exchange revenue. D.G. Khan has a solid infrastructure setup. It also hosts a large D.G. Khan Cement factory.
