Following a landmark decision by Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the announcement heralds the return of a tradition rooted in history and admired worldwide, signifying that Lahore's skies will once again 'speak in color.'
Crucially, the government has placed public safety at the forefront. The festival will be "completely safe, regulated, and strictly monitored" under the new Punjab Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025.

Register for Basant Activities
In compliance with Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance 2025 As per the ordinance, all businesses involved in Basant activities must be registered through the official eBiz Punjab system to ensure compliance with safety and material regulations.

- Business premises address verification
- Registration valid for one year (renewable)
