District Monitoring Office

The District Monitoring Office was established during January 2005.

Functions:

  • Monitoring of Education Department
  • Distribution of free text books to students
  • Monitoring of Health Department  
  • Monitoring of missing facilities schemes  
  • Restructuring of Punjab Education Foundation
  • Reactivation of School Councils
  • Teacher Recruitment
  • Awareness campaign
  • Ensure the presence of teachers in their schools
  • Quality of Education
  • Inspection of Special Education Centers/Institutions
  • Annual Schools Census for decision makers

Achievements

  • Implemented education sector reforms to improve quality, access and governance of the education system
  • Monitored the education Department and got the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions out of 35 Districts of the Punjab
  • Distributed the free text books among the students from Kachi to 10th classes
  • Monitored the NLC missing facilities schemes of Education and Health Departments
  • Conducted the enquiries of different departments for the achievements of justice
  • Future Plans:
  • Distribution of free text books from nursery to inter classes
  • Maintaining the prices in the local market
  • Betterment of missing facilities infrastructure of Schools
  • Maintaining a project (District Teacher Educator) in Education Department with Directorate of staff development, Lahore for training the male & female PTC Teachers in Primary Schools
