Major crops of District Toba Tek Singh are wheat, sugarcane, cotton and maize. Among fruits, citrus are abundantly grown in the district and a variety of vegetables are also grown here.

- Transfer of latest crop production technology to the farming community.
- Achievement of area and production targets of crops.
- Implementation of crop's production strategy including agronomy and plan protection prepared by the provincial Agriculture Department.
- Preparation of detailed training schedules of all trainers within the framework of phases decided by provincial agriculture Department and dissemination of production technology through training programme in every village of the District.
- Feedback of researchable problems to Agriculture Research Department.
- Identification, preparation and implementation of projects approved by competent authorities.
- Ensuring availability and quality of agriculture inputs.
- Participation along with requisite data in review meetings held by Provincial Agriculture Department.
- Feedback to Provincial Agriculture Department of all the above, as per time to time instructions
