It is a sad fact that our district’s literacy rate is not as high as some of the other districts of Pakistan. The main reason behind this is that most of the population belongs to villages who are less interested in education than people of cities. But with the efforts of the government, the literacy rate is now increasing at a rapid pace. No doubt the contribution of the district government is significant.
