The Finance Department has to perform avariety of tasks by covering all the departments of the district. The most important task of this department is to plan on a particular project, provide analysis on its key factors by keeping in view the financial matters as well as benefits for the people. After wards said department is responsible for allocating and management of funds.
The Finance Department plans and prepares the district government’s budget; it analyzes and designs tax policies, and develops financial rules and regulations for the Districts and Departments. It administers the transfer of funds to the other departments and territories. It develops policies on finance and helps design the district’s tariff policies. It also monitors the economic and financial developments in the district and provides policy advice on a wide range of economic issues. In short, it helps manage the district’s bank account and provides advice to the Government with the goal of creating a healthy economy for all citizens.
