Minister Culture, Sports & YA Inaugurates 3-Day Diamond Jubilee Celebrations at Al-Hamra Cultural Complex

Provincial Minister for Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Taimur Masood inaugurated the 3-day Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Al-Hamra Cultural Complex. The services of our artists are exemplary, our government is determined to highlight the cultural values, good customs, ancient culture and civilization of Punjab. Taimur Masood took a deep interest in the stalls of handicrafts, traditional food, valuable and rare items set up in the fair. Provincial Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Raja Mansoor Ahmed was also accompanied him. Provincial Minister Taimur Masood said that the Information and Culture Department by promoting culture and art in the Diamond Jubilee celebrations on the occasion of Independence Day is commendable by bringing together the regional cultural traditions of Punjab and presenting them to the public. We are lucky that we are to spread the fragrance of our dear homeland and celebrating our independence ceremonies. The Punjab government will continue to support every possible initiative in this regard. Executive Director Al-Hamra Farhat Jabin said that by keeping the new generation aware of their cultural values is dependent on the Al-Hamra Arts Council. Executive Director Punjab Arts Council Thaman Roy said that regional culture, handicrafts, traditional food stalls and folk music are becoming the focus of attention of our people in the Art and Craft ceremony. Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Pakistan Independence Day will continue for three days.
