PCBL Recovers Its Precious Land in the Village Kamhan

On the direction of Punjab Law and Cooperatives Minister Raja Basharat, during a major operation against illegal occupation, state land worth tens of millions rupees owned by the Punjab  Cooperatives  Board for Liquidation (PCBL) in Mouza Kamahan Lahore was evacuated. The joint operation by the department of cooperatives and police continued for nine hours. The operation was carried out in the settlements named Nai Abadi, Dhoop Khan, Bahadurabad, Qabristan Khata, Noor Jahan Abadi and Hajveri Society of Kamahan the other day. During the operation, 117 building foundations, 6 boundary walls and 2 houses were demolished. Raja Basharat while paying tributes to the officers and personnel who took part in the operation said that several previous attempts to remove illegal occupants had failed. He vowed that the operation against the land mafia would continue as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Usman Bazdar. The major occupiers against whom the operation was carried out included Aftab Mayo, Javed Khokhar, Imtiaz Mayo, Wajid Machhi, Abdul Sattar and Muhammad Ishaq sons of Lal Din, Fajroo, M. Hanif and others. Chairman Liquidation Board Tariq Mahmood Javed said that legal action was also being taken against the illegal occupants while the operation is being intensified in other areas as well.
