On the directions of Punjab Government arranged a Mahfil Mushaira regarding Shan-e-Rehmatul-Lil-Alameen Week

17 November 2020: As many as 1701 Quran Kareem and 10.13 million Darood were recited on the first day of Shaan Rahmatulil Alameen week by the students of different educational institutes. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali while participating as a chief guest in Naatiya Mushaira held at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium under the arrangements of the district administration. ADCF Afifa Shajia, Director Arts Council Sofia Bedar, Administrative Officer Riaz Hussain Anjum, Mohammad Sadiq and others besides poets, students and members of civil society were also present.  Dr. Anwar Mahmood Khalid presided over the Natiya Mushaira while Sahibzada Arif Hussain Bukhari, Kausar Ali, Dr. Zafar Hussain Taskeen, Dr. Shahid Ashraf, Prof. Akhtar Butt, Prof. Naseem Sahrai, Safia Hayat, Farhat Siddiqui, Prof. Tahir Siddiqui, Dr. Jafar Hassan Mubarak. Prof. Riaz Qadri, Prof. Saeeda Rasham, Prof. Naveeda Kausar, Kainat Ahmad and other poets recited Naat and  glorious Praises of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said that the celebrations of Shaan Rehmarullil alameen were in full swing in the district. He said that it is an honor to participate in such blessed gatherings. He said that it is not possible for anyone to narrate the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and this Naatiya Mushaira is a humble endeavor in connection with the celebrations of Shaan Rehmatullil Alameen (PBUH) Week. Meanwhile a Sirat Conference and  Mehfil Naat was organized by the Tehsil Saadar Council which was presided over by Chief Officer Muhammad Ashraf Malik. Narrators on Sira-un-Nabi and well-known Naat reciters presented Naat during the event. Tehsil Officers Faiza Tauseef, Saeed Malik, Mohammad Waqas, Office Superintendent Mian Farooq, Madam Hajra, In-Charge Darulaman Sofia Rizwan and others were also present. Prof. Jafar Qamar Sialvi offered special prayers for the survival, security and supremacy of Islam in Pakistan. Later, recitation of Holy Quran and Durood Salam ceremony was also organized at govt educational institutes. Assistant Commissioner Jaranwala Zain-ul-Abidin supervised the event. He informed that during the week various programs are being organized to highlight the aspects of the life of the benefactor of humanity. In this regard, the students recited the Holy Quran at the end, Durood and Salam was also recited. Students of different schools said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was sent as a mercy for all the worlds. He taught equality, forgiveness and justice. His life is the embodiment of the Qur'an in which there is complete guidance for us. The secret of success in the hereafter of him.
