Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said that our each and every day is filled up with love and respect of parents. He remarked that success can only be achieved in the world and the world hereafter by serving and paying due respect to the parents. Parents bear the name of true spirit and honest relationship which has no substitute. CM complimented that excellent training imparted to him by his parents is a valuable asset for him. He maintained that “I have reached the present elevated position due to excellent education and training imparted to me by my parents”. My respected late father paid full attention on my excellent education and training and my respectable mother also provided me enlightened guidance on every occasion. CM in his message on the Global Parents Day said that parents relationship is pure and is above any need or affectation. CM outlined that great emphasis has been laid on the rights, respect and dignity of parents in the religion of Islam. The position of parents is like a torchbearer for the children and the beauty of this relationship lies in the manner in which they groom up and shape our personalities by putting in their untiring efforts, hard work and devotion, he added. He commended that parents inculcate in the personalities of their children the sterling qualities of sincerity, tolerance, sacrifice, love and affection. CM stressed that the purpose behind celebrating this day is to admit the respect, dignity and elevated stature of parents along with portraying their importance. The main purpose for celebrating this day is to project our sentiments of affection, thankfulness and love for the parents. CM further maintained that bowing before the parents by showing affection and respect towards them helps us to reach the pinnacle of glory and respect. No religion, nation, sect or humanity can deny the respect and dignity of parents, concluded CM Usman Buzdar.
