Children Arts & Craft Workshop Conclude At Alhamra

8-day “Children Arts & Craft Workshop” of Alhamra concluded on 5th August at Alhamra Art Gallery the Mall here on Monday. Advisor to CM Punjab Mr. Awn Chaudhry was the chief guest of the event. On the closing ceremony of the workshop, he said that Alhamra's positive activities are improving the creativity among children which is a very healthy sign. It is a pleasure to see that Alhamra has become a hub of promotion of literature and culture. These kinds of creative workshops are a good platform for students to stimulate their extracurricular talents and grow up as creative persons. Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Ather Ali Khan said, our basic aim is to nurture our new generation's creative abilities as well as improve their moral and ethical values. Our organization is working day and night for the well-being of the community, especially our new generation.  He further said that Lahore Arts Council wants to see its youth at the altitude of moral and cultural standards and this is the right phase to mold them into better creative persons and open them a world of artistry. Almost 50 children participated in the workshop. Children were trained in the basic techniques of art and craft under the supervision of experienced art teachers. On the closing ceremony of the workshop, Mr. Awn Chaudhry along with Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Ather Ali Khan distributed the certificates among the children. This workshop was part of Independence Day celebrations at Alhamra which will continue till August 14.
