Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal today led the anti-dengue awareness walk from Town Hall to Istanbul Chowk. The walk was jointly organized by Health Department and district administration which was attended by among others DC Lahore Dr. Saliha Saeed and people from different walks of life. Talking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Aslam Iqbal said that purpose of organizing this walk is to sensitize the people about the hazards of dengue disease. Our religion Islam stresses on cleanliness and every person should play its role to help clean the environment around. It is also said that prevention is better than cure and the people should adopt all possible measures so that they could remain safe from this disease.
