Plots worth Rs 70 Million Handed Over To Overseas Pakistanis.

As many as 8 plots in a private housing society, worth Rs.70 million have been handed over to the overseas Pakistanis, due to the efforts made by the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab. Vice Chairperson OPC Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed that Overseas Pakistanis had booked these plots in this housing society five years ago but despite payment, plots were not being handed over to them. They told that on the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis, OPC Punjab played its role for the provision of plots to the affected owners. Shaheen Khalid Butt and Afzaal Bhatti further informed that on the instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, complaints of Overseas Pakistanis regarding housing schemes are being treated on priority basis and plots of remaining affected expatriate Pakistani of this housing scheme would be delivered very soon.
