Agreement between Government of Punjab and Novartis Pharma, Paksitan Will Be a Great Achievment, Provincial Minister Human Rights and Affairs and Minorities Khalil Tahir Sandhu.

Provincial Minister Human Rights and Affairs of Minorities Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that agreement between the Punjab government and international pharmaceutical organization Novartis Pharma Pakistan for serving of human being is a welcome step and according to agreement Novartis Pharma will provide free medicines to patients suffering from four diseases. This includes Diabetics, Sugar, Respiratory and Breast Cancer diseases. He expressed these views while meeting with representatives of Minorities in his office. The Minister said that population of Punjab province has reached 11 billion and it is more than half the population of Pakistan.  He said that this agreement will prove best example of Public and Private Joint Venture. He said that this agreement reflects the vision of the government of Punjab. Free medicines will be provided at the cost of 1$ per patient which will be paid by Punjab Government providing the patients with free medicines completely and 3.5 lac patients will be benefitted from this agreement.
