Expatriates Property Complaints Being Pursued Properly, OPC

Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, Afzaal Bhatti has said that on the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, complaints of expatriate Pakistanis pertaining to Cooperative Housing Societies are being pursued on priority basis. He was addressing the participants of a review meeting of the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis with secretary Cooperatives Department, Muhammad Shehryar Sultan and registrar, Zulfiqar Ghumman. Director General OPC, Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari, Director Revenue, Ishrat ullah Niazi and other relevant officers attended the meeting. Afzaal Bhatti said that OPC, with the support of Cooperatives department is pursuing a comprehensive policy to settle the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis regarding Cooperative housing societies of the province and a number of complaints have been resolved with the vibrant input of staff of Cooperatives Department. On this occasion, Secretary Cooperatives apprised the participants about the actions being taken by Cooperatives Department on the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis. During meeting certain complaints were thoroughly discussed and Commissioner OPC and Secretary Cooperatives issued necessary directions in this regard.
