Two-day International Educational Conference in Punjab

Two-day international educational conference will be held in Lahore on 8th and 9th of November to review the educational reforms of the Punjab Schools Education Department. The conference would be attended by wprld renowned educational experts and representatives of development agencies to upgrade the educational system of the province. This was stated by Punjab Schools Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan while presiding over a review meeting to finalize the arrangements of this conference. Special Secretary Schools Rana Hassan Akhtar, representatives of different departments including officials of international partners attended the meeting. The Minister said that the conference would gave awareness about international experiences and reforms processes initiated in other countries. The Pakistan educational experts would have an opportunity to exchange views with the visitors to further improve their performance and professionalism, he added. He said that educational revolution has been introduced in the Punjab and the government is committed to educate every child. He said that a total sum of Rs. 345 billion has been earmarked for the education sector in the financial year 2017-18. This amount is Rs. 33 billion more than the funds of previous financial year.
