PFA Crackdown Continues Against the Poor Food Suppliers

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) crackdown is continued against the poor food items and owners across the province here on Saturday. In this regard, PFA has checked 270 food points in different districts of Lahore Division. Teams have sealed 6 shops, imposed fine to 49 shops and 215 warning notices were issued during crackdown. PFA teams sealed the Laki Burger Stall in Kotli and Clarity Water in Rahim Park over without getting permit from authority. As well, PFA has issued fine tickets of Rs 51500 to Al-Rafiq Sweets in Naqshbandia Bazaar, Shangrila Restaurant in Mazang, New Paradise restaurant, Food Fusion, Metro Cash and Carry’s bakery section in Model Town link road and Italian plate over not providing the medicals of staff, covered food with dirty clothes, preserve food in dirty freezer, improper cleaning of the premises, wearing jewelry during work and other issue. Further, PFA has also disposed 50 kg unhygienic ketchup during crackdown. PFA teams also directed to immediate making e-licensing for food business and getting medical certificates of staff during inspection of severely restaurants, tea stalls and milk shops including Karachi Shahbaz Biryani at Mazang, Pakiza Murgh Chana, Bhatti Store, Mudasar Naan Chana, Yasir General Store, Jabber Tea Stall, Abdul General Store, Muhammadi Nashta Point, Usman Cold Corner, Tuffail cold drink, Mashllah Karyana store, Lucky Burger Stall, Desi Dera, Kashmir General Store, Yadgard Tea Stall, Malik Burger Point at Raiwind, Al-Hasib Sindhi Biryani, Almarwa Foods, Hajji Fiaz Store, Bota Milk Shop and Wata Prata.
