With An Estimated Cost of Rs. 9462.105 Million, PPD Approved Two Development Schemes

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of Energy & Health Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 9462.105 million.
These schemes were approved in the 4th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.      
The approved development schemes included: Khadim-E-Punjab Ujaala Program (South Punjab) at the cost of Rs. 8969.269 million and Establishment of Regional Blood Centre at Faisalabad and Up-gradation of Existing Blood Units Mayo & General Hospitals Lahore with Assistance of KFW at the cost of Rs. 492.836 million.
