208 Flats For The Labourers Have Been Completed In Warbaton, Nankana—Raja Ashfaq Sarwar

Provincial Minister for Labour & Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar presided over a high level meeting regarding Labour Day. Secretary Labour, Commissioner PESSI, Secretary Worker’s Welfare Board, Project Director Child Labour and other officers attended the meeting. The Provincial Minister said that 208 flats built in Warbaton, District Nankana are completed which will be handed over to the labourers in a short while. This infrastructure developed maintains the quality of modern day requirements. One more promise will be fulfilled by handing over these apartments. The Provincial Minister directed to expand the radius of allotment up to 30-km of the area, as it is not the district bound project rather we should tried to cater maximum number of labourers in this industrial area as this is the project for the welfare of labourers and every hard working labourer should be benefitted from this labour-oriented project.

Moreover, Provincial Minister directed to invite all the classes of labourers on Labour Day so as to encompass all the circles of life. A detailed light will be thrown on all the projects completed or being carried on by the Labour Department, he added.

The Provincial Minister further said that a series of new project will be announced on Labour Day as per labour-friendly policies of the Punjab government and these projects will be completed during the tenure of present government.
