Dedicated Desk For Expats In LDA Approved

Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, Shaheen Khalid Butt informed that Chief Minister Punjab has Accorded approval to set up a dedicated desk for overseas Pakistanis in Lahore Development Authority (LDA). Giving detail in this regard, he said that this desk would facilities expats regarding sale / purchase of their properties and provide up dated information. He further told that Chief Minister has instructed the relevant department to fully cooperate with OPC in Connection with resolution of the problems faced by Overseas Pakistanis and necessary orders in this regard, have been conveyed to the departments concerned. Shaheen Khalid Butt told that setting up of dedicated Police Station / facilitation center for Overseas Pakistanis in four divisions of the province including Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and D.G Khan is in the final stage and these centers would become functional soon. He further said that establishment of OPC is the vision of Chief Minister Punjab who is fully committed for the solution of the expats Problems. Shaheen Khalid Butt told that the CM Punjab personally monitors the performance of OPC and so far half of received complaints of the Overseas Pakistanis have been addressed by OPC.
