PFA Seals Eight Hotels, Bakeries Due to Poor Cleanliness

Punjab Food Authority has sealed eight hotels, bakeries and one factory producing harmful pakorian and manufacturing fake drinks and 12 persons have been arrested. Under the supervision of Director Operations Ayesha Mumtaz, Waheed Pakorian Factory was sealed due to poor cleanliness and using harmful material and four persons were arrested. Five thousand kilogram pakorian material and 1500 liter loose oil were taken into custody by Food Authority. Student Shawarma at Shadbagh was sealed due to poor cleanliness and using harmful material and a case was registered and six persons were arrested on the spot. Pehalwan Tika Shop and Butt Karahi & Tika Shop in Gawalmandi Food Street was sealed due to poor cleanliness. Rawaj Restaurant and Haveli Restaurant at Taxali Gate Food Street were sealed due to poor cleanliness and arrested Manager Haveli Restaurant. Pilot Soda Water Factory at Taxali Gate was sealed and 600 bottles of substandard soda water were taken into custody. Awan Milk Shop at Thokar Niaz Beig, Insaaf Hotel at Akbar Chowk, Nafees Dahee Bhaley in Gulberg and Haji Khalid Tika Shop on Ghazali Road were sealed due to poor cleanliness and heavy fine was imposed while Al-Sheikh Bakery in Faisal Town was sealed due to poor cleanliness and heavy fine was imposed. A heavy fine was imposed at Faisal caters in Tech Society.
