The Monitoring Wing is responsible for submission of finance accounts, appropriation accounts and commercial accounts along with the Auditor General's report to the Governor for approval to present these documents to the Provincial Assembly. It also represents Finance Department in the meetings of the Public Accounts Committees of the Legislature. Monitoring of the progress of disposal of Audit paras is also the responsibility of this Wing. It also monitors progress of receipt of monthly civil accounts of Government from the Accountant General, examination of these accounts in the Finance Department and the reconciliation of the figures of expenditure and receipts from Administrative Departments with the Audit Offices.
