Development Wing

The Development Wing comprises of two sub wings: 
   
Autonomous Bodies Wing

There are more than 125 Autonomous Bodies of the Provincial Government. These Wings provide financial assistance to these Autonomous Bodies. Development schemes and budget proposals of the Autonomous Bodies are scrutinized and advice is rendered on policy matters by these two wings.

This wing performs functions similar to Expenditure Wing but for all the engineering departments of the provincial government. This Wing also functions as the Secretariat of the Standing Rates Committee, which comprises of representatives from all engineering departments. The Standing Rates Committee is responsible for the compilation and revision of the Composite Schedule of Rates (CSR) for the execution of engineering works of all departments and for the work-charged establishment. Technical Wing also gives advice to other department wings on technical matters concerning engineering department.
